We have luxuriously roasted "Ichibancha" from Kakegawa, Shizuoka Prefecture. Generally, hojicha is made using second or later tea leaves, but this hojicha uses only first-picked tea leaves in early summer. This luxurious hojicha has the rich, sweet and fragrant aroma that only Ichibancha can provide, and is refreshing and easy to drink. Because it contains abundant vitamin C, it is said to have beauty and detox effects. It is a gentle tea with lower caffeine than Sencha.
